Terms of Use

Eligibility

Revel is intended only for adults who are 18 or older and legally able to use mature audio storytelling services in their jurisdiction. By using Revel, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that your use of Revel is lawful where you live.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You can delete your account in the Revel iOS app by opening Profile, then Account Management, then Delete account. Account deletion removes your account and associated app data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Communications

We may use your email address to send messages that are needed to provide and protect Revel. These messages can include sign-in codes, account notices, security alerts, service updates, and support responses. You cannot opt out of messages that are necessary to operate your account, but you can stop them by deleting your account.

Where permitted by law, we may also send newsletters, product announcements, creator highlights, offers, and other promotional messages. We will request separate consent when the law requires it. Promotional emails will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can withdraw your consent or opt out at any time without losing access to Revel.

Content and conduct

Revel includes audio stories, creator content, comments, profiles, scripts, uploads, reports, and other content. You are responsible for the content you submit and for your behavior on Revel.

You agree not to submit, upload, or use Revel for content or conduct that:

• involves minors or attempts to sexualize minors in any way;
• is non-consensual, exploitative, abusive, harassing, threatening, or hateful;
• violates someone else's privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights;
• is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or designed to bypass safety or moderation systems;
• contains malware, spam, scraping, automation abuse, or attempts to disrupt Revel; or
• otherwise violates these Terms or creates legal, safety, or operational risk for Revel, users, or creators.

We may moderate, remove, limit, or refuse content; restrict features; suspend accounts; or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated or action is needed to protect Revel, users, creators, or third parties.

Creator submissions

If you submit creator profile information, scripts, audio, artwork, or related materials, you represent that you have all rights needed to do so and that the materials comply with these Terms. You grant Revel permission to host, process, display, distribute, edit, and use submitted materials as needed to operate and promote Revel.

Creator access, publication, moderation, compensation, and other creator-specific programs may be subject to additional written terms or agreements.

Revel content and intellectual property

Revel and its content, design, software, trademarks, and other materials are owned by Revel or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Revel for its intended purpose. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Revel or its content except as expressly allowed by us.

Reports and moderation

You may report content or behavior that you believe violates these Terms. We review reports at our discretion and may take action we believe is appropriate. We are not obligated to publish, keep, or restore any content.

Subscriptions and payments

Revel may offer an auto-renewable monthly membership through Apple's App Store or through an approved payment provider on the Revel website. The price, billing provider, and any introductory offer available to you are shown before purchase. If you start a subscription, payment is charged through the billing provider shown at checkout when the purchase is confirmed or when an applicable introductory offer ends.

Membership renews automatically for additional one-month periods unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple-billed memberships can be managed in Apple Account subscription settings. Website-billed memberships can be managed from Revel Account settings when website checkout becomes available. Eligibility for introductory offers, billing, cancellations, and refunds may also be subject to the terms and policies of the billing provider shown at checkout.

Third-party services

Revel may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics, push notifications, app distribution, and related infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

Service changes and availability

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Revel at any time. We do not guarantee that Revel will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular content will remain available.

Disclaimers

Revel is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of Revel.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Revel changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of Revel after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
